      OpenAI models in Quidget

Quidget is gradually migrating from the OpenAI Assistants API to the newer Responses API.

The Assistants API is deprecated and will be removed in August 2026.
The Responses API is the recommended replacement and is required to use GPT-5 models.

      What to keep in mind

      • After switching to the Responses API, model behavior may change slightly
      • Existing prompts and instructions can behave a bit differently
      • We recommend testing your agent after switching, especially if you rely on complex prompts or rules

Below is an overview of the currently supported OpenAI models in Quidget.
This guide helps you understand which model to choose, how it behaves, and which plans support it.

      • It provides the best balance of cost, performance, and response quality for most use cases.

How to choose the right model

      General recommendations:

      • 👉 GPT-4o mini — best default choice for ~80% of customer support chatbots, offering a strong balance of speed, cost, and quality
      • 👉 GPT-5 mini — ideal when you need structured responses and consistent reasoning across similar queries
      • 👉 GPT-5 / 5.1 / 5.2 — designed for complex logic, enterprise-grade workflows, and maximum accuracy
      • 👉 GPT-4o / 4.1 — best when natural conversation, tone of voice, and human-like interaction are critical
      • ❌ Deprecated models — use only to maintain existing or legacy setups

      Deprecated models

The following models are deprecated and not recommended for new agents. The models listed below are deprecated and are no longer recommended for new agents.

          Security settings

          Overview

Two-factor authentication (2FA) protects your account by requiring two methods to confirm your identity at login:

          • Your regular account password.
          • A temporary security code generated from an authentication app or sent to you separately.

Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the second verification step. This keeps your information safer from unauthorized users and phishing attempts.

Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) To enable 2FA, follow these instructions:

          1. Go to Account Settings.
          2. Select the Security tab.
          3. Click on the Turn on 2FA button.
          1. If you’re using Google Authentication without a password set, you will need to create one first. Enter and confirm your new password, then click Next.

          5. Set up your Authentication App:

          1. Download one of the suggested authentication apps (Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator) to your mobile device.
          2. Scan the provided QR code using your authentication app.

If you’re unable to scan, use the Manual setup code option provided below the QR code.

          1. Enter your account password and the temporary security code generated by your authentication app, then click Confirm.
          1. After successful setup, a list of ten backup codes appears. Important:

Save these backup codes somewhere secure. You will only see them once. You can use these backup codes if you lose access to your authentication app. Each backup code works only once.

          8. To generate new backup codes:

          1. Click on the Generate new link.
          2. Confirm your password to proceed.

          9. You can disable 2FA anytime:

          1. Click Disable 2FA.
          2. Enter your account password to confirm disabling.
