Big news is coming: Quidget is about to become something bigger

We wanted to tell you before you saw it anywhere else. Over the next few weeks, Quidget is changing its name, and joining forces with a larger customer-support operation to become a single, more capable platform.

The product isn’t going anywhere. If anything, it’s getting sharper. But the name “Quidget” was built for a scrappy little widget, and what we do now is a lot more than that. So we’re giving it a name that matches, and we wanted you in on it early.

Quidget Becomes SupportResponse

What’s actually happening

Two things, at once.

First, we’re rebranding: new name, new look, new home on the web. You’ll start seeing it roll out across our site, product, and emails over the coming weeks.

Second – and this is the bigger part – we’re combining with an established customer support company. That means the platform is growing from “an AI agent that answers questions on your site” into something that can carry a customer conversation end to end: an AI first response, a built-in helpdesk for what needs a human, and the quality controls behind the scenes that keep answers accurate.

Same team you’ve been working with. Same product you rely on. A bigger operation behind it, and a name that finally says what it does.

Why we’re telling you now

Rebrands can be jarring when they land out of nowhere – a new logo shows up, links break, and everyone spends a week wondering if they’re in the right place. We’d rather not do it that way.

So consider this your heads-up. In the next four weeks, the name and look will change. We’ll send another note the day it goes live so there’s no confusion about who you’re dealing with.

What you need to do: nothing

Really, nothing. When the change happens:

Your account, logins, and trained agent all carry over untouched. The widget you’ve embedded on your site keeps working – no re-install, no code changes. Your integrations, settings, history, pricing, and plan all come with you. Old links will redirect to the right place.

You won’t have to migrate anything or learn anything new. You’ll just see a new name on a product that works exactly like it did the day before.

Why the change is worth it

We’re not renaming for the sake of it. The new platform is built around three things our customers keep asking for:

One tool instead of three. A conversation should be able to start with an instant AI answer and, when it needs a person, land in a proper workflow, not a dead end and not a second product you have to buy and wire up.

Quality you can actually see. Plenty of AI support tools ask you to trust a black box. We’d rather show the guardrails and evaluations behind our resolution rates, and be honest about what these tools cost and deliver.

Priced for lean teams. Our customers watch every dollar. The platform is built to stay genuinely affordable at the scale most small software teams operate, no enterprise budget required to give customers fast, accurate support.

Stay tuned

That’s the teaser. In a few weeks we’ll be back with the full reveal – new name, new look, and more on what the combined platform can do.

In the meantime, it’s business as usual. Keep using Quidget exactly as you do today. And thanks for being here for what comes next; we think you’re going to like it.

Questions in the meantime? Reach out to our team anytime. We’re happy to walk you through what’s coming.
